"I am fine.... Hope you are ok too ....." This is what we all wrote and sent this message to everyone we knew on the day 13/07

This showcases our mentality ....... our concerns ..... our priorities ......

And even after all that has happened - what we do or plan to do - Human Chain, Cangle light vigil .......

Is this the only thing that we can do .... some of us even do not do this much .... I know .... V all know

It is becasue of such mentality and our outlook towards life .... we find ourselves in a mess like what we are in today .... We have all alligned ourselves to allow Dishonesty, Corruption and Goondas to be a part of our life .... N not just part of our life - We have allowed them to dictate our life .....

What can we do ..... Have we just read History books to get marks, and pass on to next class ......

When will we say enough is enough .... and take the streets .... or just not take to the streets (will come to this part) ..... It is us who have allowed a non-competent goverment to make decisions for us ..... We do not file cases against Government ... against Goverment agencies and establishments ..... against corrupt Traffic police ..... against local goonda ..... against anyone ......

I am quoting from The Declaration of Independence of USA , "Whenever any form of government becomes destructive to it's own ends, it is the right of the People to abolish it."

And you know its so easy to destruct a government - just dont do what you are supposed to do ... dont get out of your home .... dont go to office ..... dont open any markets ..... dont open any banks ..... dont open any manufacturing units .... A nationwide " FULLSTOP"

Government might be able to survive this for a day, or two .... but what if this happens for a whole week ..... we all have that many SL/CL/Other Leaves rt .....

We the people have to do something drastic so that government thinks that we are important.

For a Country - what is most important ..... the integrity of Country, the financial health of country, the self sufficiency of country .... but most important .... NO ONE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE CITIZENS OF COUNTRY ..... coz it is us who make a country COUNTRY

I dont know whether this will ever happen .... but if it does ... count me in ....

Coz i cant let a Congress, a BJP or any other political party or a Karunanidhi or Pawar to decide about my country .... I want to decide about my country ..... I just want politicians to work for it ... work for us ... dats why they are called CIVIL SERVANTS .....

If nothing drastic happens ... till dat time .... everything is BULLSHIT ........

Azaadi

What does Azzadi mean to me……mean to us……I ponder overt this almost everytime I hear someone say anything related to independence

Does independence mean…that we have our own government? The one, which we have chosen. And of course have the right to throw them over, if they do not perform.

This is partially true. This government is chosen by us….But do people who choose the right to vote are the only people who are responsible for the government or who get affected by the decisions taken by the government that a few have chosen. No…so when only say 55% of eligible population has voted, and then too, government is made with coalition support….Is this government really chosen by us…Or are we played by politicians in the name of democracy?

For me democracy, which is the biggest gift of independence, should allow me to throw out any incompetent political personnel with whom we are not happy, not because of his caste, religion, colour etc, but because he isnt doing his job well.

On this Independence day, even the top stories on leading newspaper is about corruption in hosting of CWG games. Is this the kind of independence that we should be proud of. It’s our money, which is pocketed by Kalmadi & Co…

We see a corrupt politician like Sharad Pawar (personally, I hate that asshole), be responsible for feeding the complete nation, managing crops and distribution of food grains for a complete nation….But what is he interested in. He wants to be Chairman of ICC, why - because there is money in cricket. Don’t forget that he has already made huge money in Agriculture business.

This brings me to another question, should politicians be allowed to be part of Sporting councils/bodies. I am disgusted at the plight of Indian hockey. Indian football has nowhere to go….we were a very good team till 1970. We used to qualify for world cup, finish at respectable position in Olympics (finished fourth at the 1956 Olympics in Melbourne)

And now, am I really happy to see the state this Independent India….Not really. In a country, where it is difficult to get Roti, Kapda and Makaan….where the government healthcare is a farce, where farmers are committing suicides, where political parties are dividing people on the basis of religion and region, on the basis of mother tongue, where corruption is so prevalent that our definition of corruption has changed.

One thing that we have learnt in this Independent era, powerful people have the independence to do what they want and get away with it

However, the things that make me happy and proud about this Independent India are:
1.Indian Armed Forces
2.Sachin Tendulkar (Not Indian Cricket Team)
3.Mumbaikars (Yeah, We rock…and yes, we are the proof that humanity, sympathy, and hope still is present with us Humans)
4.Bollywood (Special mention –New age cinema makers and Typical Bollywood masala - Salman rocks in Dabaang promos)
5.Saina Nehwal
6.Dr. APJ
7.And last but not the least, our Culture,Diversity and Heritage

So, I am a Proud Indian but skeptical about saying Happy Independence Day at the top of his voice in this current scenario.

Déjà-Vu - My first Blog

I just had a Déjà-Vu and it made me think – what is it – is it a phenomenon or do we suddenly become psychic – in a very weird way

This made me write my first blog – thinking of myself as an “Intelligent” person who has this “keeda” of trying to put things in perspective. (Please note this has nothing to do with me being an engineer – because only I know how I have done my engineering)

So – let me put two well known theories to have some perspective on Déjà-Vu

Big Bang Theory: We all know what big bang theory is – birth of our ever expanding universe from a primordial hot and dense condition at some time. And at a particular time, it exploded creating clusters of galaxies with a certain velocity and which has resulted in our ever expanding universe
Space – Time continuum: Space-time continuum is a mathematical model which combines space and time in an equation where space has three dimensions and time plays a fourth dimension which has spatial dimensions.

So – here is why I think Déjà-vu happens: What if at the time of occurrence of Big-Bang, more than one time-space continuum were given birth to. What if the different time-space continuums have the same properties and goes through the same evolutionary and growth process?

This may result in the same Earth of which we are inhabitants to be present in some other time-space continuum which is working according to some other time.

And what if – these time-space continuums which have originated from the same source cross over each other at some of time?

This may result in us having a déjà-vu – a feeling as if this has happened earlier or we have gone through the same environment earlier. This could be possible because of the time-space continuum crossing over each other and other person (yourself) in another time plane has gone through the same environment that you are in before.And some of us have just become aware of such crossover and receive the spatial dimensions of the other continuum,thereby enabling us to feel the phenomenon of Déjà-Vu

This also postulates that there are more than one of me, somewhere in some other time-space continuum – its so fantastic – Universe gets more that one ME
